The Public Safety Action Committee (PSAC) exists to strengthen the holistic wellbeing of North Carolina’s public safety community. As the state’s premier organization uniting public safety, business, government, and community partners, we empower, appreciate, and support public safety agencies, their personnel, and their families by addressing needs that extend beyond traditional resources. Through innovative programs, meaningful partnerships, and collaborative leadership, we build resilience, deepen public trust, and strengthen the connection between those who protect us and the communities they serve—creating safer, stronger, and more connected communities for all.

Wellness & Resilience
The wellbeing of public safety professionals extends far beyond physical safety. PSAC is committed to promoting mental, emotional, and family wellness by providing education, resources, and opportunities that help individuals and agencies build resilience.
